On 30 December 2016, CADRRE (Centre for Autism and Other Disabilities Rehabilitation Research and Education) was registered under section 8 of the Companies Act 2013 as a not-for-profit organization exclusively for children on the autism spectrum. G. Vijaya Raghavan, founder CEO of Technopark and founder โ Director of National Institute of Speech and Hearing (NISH) gathered together a group of likeminded people who thought it was imperative to draw attention to autism which is a rising concern in the disability sector. CADRRE was a result of the efforts of G. Vijaya Raghavan, with the assistance of Chandaria Foundation, UST Global and K. Nandakumar and SunTec Business Solutions as donor patrons. George M. Thomas Foundation, Trivandrum International School and Malayala Manorama supported us during our first phase.
At CADRRE, our primary objective is to bring about a significant change in the lives of children affected with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) through best practice principles and family-centered holistic care. With our inclusive approach and a wide range of services, we focus on serving the individual needs of children with Autism and their families, thus creating a conducive environment in the country where persons with ASD are able to realize their full potential.
